Roger James Van Wormer

Roger James Van Wormer, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at his home in West Branch. He was born on August 1, 1956 in West Branch to Darold and Margaret (Davis) Van Wormer. Roger lived in West Branch all his life. He graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1974. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles. Roger worked at Wickes Lumber for over 25 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, canoeing, spending time on the Rifle River and his dogs.

Roger is survived by his siblings, Mary (Pat) Gehl, Dorothy Davis, Kay Davis, Darla (Cliff) McKelvey, Carol (Roy) Parker, Sally Van Wormer, Tom Van Wormer, Frances Erwin, and Ronald Van Wormer; sister-in-law, Sandy Van Wormer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pamela, and siblings, David Van Wormer, Mont Van Wormer and Laura Hall.

Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
