Roberta L. Pelland

Roberta L. "Bobbie" Pelland age 63 of West Branch, formerly of Waterford, died Friday, August 17, 2007, at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City after a brief illness. She was born in Pontiac on January 22, 1944 to Robert and Phyllis (Dougherty) Branham. Bobbie married David Pelland on April 20, 1965 in Pontiac. Bobbie is survived by her husband, David of West Branch; her daughter, Elizabeth M. Sloas (Randal) of Gladwin; 2 grandchildren; Michael A. and Laura L. Sloas and 2 great grandchildren; Austin D. and Jacob M. Sloas. Also surviving is her mother Phyllis Adams of West Branch and her sister Bernadette Brooks of Albright Shores. Roberta hobbies included Arts, Crafts and Ceramics and Painting. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 2 to 9:00P.M. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, West Branch, Michigan. Her funeral will be Monday at 11:00A.M. from the funeral home with internment at Edwards Township Cemetery in West Branch. Memorial contributions may be made to Arthritis Foundation.
