Robert Raymond Burdick, age 74, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home in Prescott, MI with his wife by his side. He lived in Alger for the past 37 years, formerly of Detroit. He was born on April 23, 1946 in Detroit to Raymond and Grace (Gorst) Burdick. Bob served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1965-1967. He married Chari Lankin in Detroit on January 22, 1971. Bob worked at the Detroit Police Department and was a past member of the Lions Club, Masonic Lodge #376, and the Shriners all in West Branch and Bikers 4 Kids in Arenac County. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Chari Burdick of Prescott; daughter, Michelle (Mike) Rulig of Fenton; son, James Burdick of Tucson, AZ; granddaughters, Cassie, Bridgette and Olivia; grandson, Joey; great grandchildren, Shatki, Billie and Apollo; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Robert Burdick II and sister, Suzanne Clexton.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
