Robert R. Witmer

Robert R. Witmer, age 59 of St. Helen passed away at his home. He had lived in St. Helen for the past 18 years, formerly of Kingston, NY and Lincoln Park. He was employed by Wal Mart in West Branch and was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, guns and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Witmer is survived by his wife, Evelyn of St. Helen, daughters--Carol (Daniel) Szczepankicwicz of Killeen, TX and Louise (Joe) Doyle of St. Helen, grandchildren--Joseph and Sarah Doyle and Haley Szczepankicwicz, his ex-wife Christina Del Fuoco of St. Clair Shores, his brother Gary (Vicki) Witmer of Ft. Collins, CO, his nephew Brian and his niece Sarah. He was preceded in death by his son Arthur Miller and his parents, Ralph and Carolyn Witmer. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday April 20, 2005 until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00 P.M. Sr. Barbara Matienich O.P. will officate. A Graveside Service will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen.
