Robert P. Haynes

Robert Paul Haynes, age 77, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at his home in West Branch. He was a resident of West Branch since 1995, formerly of New Haven. Robert was married to his loving wife Eleanor on January 23, 1974 in Mt. Clemens. He was a member of the Eagles of West Branch and enjoyed bowling and fishing. Robert is survived by his wife Eleanor, daughter Jan (Dan) Delpier of New Haven, grandchildren Debbie (Jeff) Rostow of Macomb Township, Dawn (Dave) Baker of Shelby Township, Chuck (Sissy) Delpier of Clinton Township and Benne (Jessica) Delpier of South Carolina. Also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren Brook, Kirsten, Caitlin, MacKenzie, Austin, Joshua, Chance, Skylar, B.J., Jenny, Jennifer and Kaitlyn and 1 great-great grandchild Skylar; 2 brothers Bill (Terry) Haynes of Rochester and Larry (Evelyn) Haynes of Florida and 1 sister Dorothy Stacy of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Dick Haynes. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Monday, March 19, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
