Robert Leo LeBlanc, age 87, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home in St. Helen. He was born on September 27, 1932 in Lincoln Park to Leo and Margaret (McCreery) LeBlanc. He lived in St. Helen for the past 50 years, formerly from Garden City. On September 27, 1951 he married Virginia Ennest in Lincoln Park. Bob served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #416 and served as a past Post Commander. Bob enjoyed camping and riding motorcycles.
Bob is survived by his wife, Virginia LeBlanc; daughters, Pamela (Christopher) Crowley and Cindy (Michael) Lenahan; grandchildren, Kimberly Sanders, Robert (Tiffany Morgan) Kirksey and Sara Lenahan; great grandchildren, Jaymes Seivers, Savannah (Josh Somers) Bradley, Cody Bradley, Kaida Kirksey, Hayden Kirksey, Skyler Morgan and Sage Morgan; great great grandson, Jordan Somers; brother, William LeBlanc; and sister in law, Judy LeBlanc. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Veteran Service at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
