Robert K. Davisson

December 28, 1923 — July 20, 2007

Robert Kesley Davisson, age 83, a loving husband, wonderful father and a great friend to his neighbors, entered into everlasting peace on July 20, 2007. He lived in St. Helen for the past 23 years, formerly of Livonia. Robert was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of St. Helen, the American Legion Post 416 and the Eagles Lodge of West Branch. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Robert loved woodworking, photography, fishing, golfing, bowling and was an all around hobbyist. Robert is survived by his wife Ailli (Helen), son Tom Davisson of Spokane, Washington and daughters Barbara (Joseph) Hyland-Taylor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kathryn (Jerry) Detter of White Lake, Michigan and Karen Sykes of Spokane, Washington. Also surviving Robert are grandchildren Robert Davisson, Christopher Davisson, Scott Hyland, Lindsay Hyland, Austin Taylor, Justin Detter, Chelsea Detter and Cedric Sykes; great-grandchildren Tom Davisson and Tess Detter and 2 sisters Muriel Cameron of California and Betty Thomas of Washington. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Winter officiating. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or Hope Lutheran Church of St. Helen.
