Robert H. Romancky

Mr. Romancky passed away at Birchwood Nursing Center in Traverse City, MI. He had lived in St. Helen for all of his life. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, the Roscommon VFW and the American Legion #416 of St. Helen. He was a past Richfield Township Supervisor for 4 years and a Roscommon County Commissioner for 5 years. Mr. Romancky is survived by his wife Dorothy of St. Helen, children--Robert Jr. (Debbie) Romancky, Comer (Cindy) Romancky, John Romancky, Ellen (Chet) Butler and Hallis (Troy) Romancky all of St. Helen, 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary Mason of Flint, Ellen MacKay of Vassar, June Massey of St. Helen and Ruth (Jack) Myers of West Branch, brothers, Joe Romanski of Flint, George (Wanda) Romancky of St.Helen and Albert (Mary) Romancky of Spring Hill, Florida. Visistation will begin on Monday April 7, 2003 at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch from 5-9 P.M. and Tuesday from 12-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday April 9, 2003, 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Ken Peterson will officate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
