Robert G. Marshall

Robert G. Marshall, age 79, of West Branch, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at his home. He had lived in West Branch for all of his life. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the K of C, including being honored as Knight of the Year. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping and being with his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Pat of West Branch, children; Calvin (Barb) Marshall of Lupton, Cindy (Bob) Trout, Kenny (Cheryl) Marshall, Tom (Debbie) Marshall all of West Branch, and grandchildren; Kris (Dawn), Klint (Marie), Craig (Trisha), Kurt, Eric, Brian and Lisa and great-grandchildren, Lyddia and Calvin James. Also surviving are his sisters, Harriet Harshman and Betty Graham both of West Branch and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Marshall, Geraldine Chrivia, Roberta Smith, Gloria Thompson and brother-in-law, James Trout and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna (Doucott) Marshall. sisters, Idella Benjamin and Mary Ellen St. John and his brothers, William and LaVern Marshall. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 1-9 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. and a K of C Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. Fr. Miro D. Wiese OFM will officiate with burial following at Selkirk Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or Heartland Hospice.
