Richard J. Pennell

Richard J. Pennell age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at his home. Richard had lived in Alger since 1992, formerly of Harrison Township, MI. He enjoyed playing cards, tinkering in the garage, cutting wood, and anything to do with mechanics. Richard is survived by son, Jeff (Shelley) Pennell of Sterling, son Greg (Dawn) Pennell of East China, daughter, Marsha (Paul) Palazzolo of Ocquoc, MI, daughter, Sue (Garry) Roux of Alger, daughter, Stacy Bisby of Alger, daughter, Cathy (Rich) Hintz of Rose City, 13 grandchildren with granddaughter on the way in October, and one great-grandson on the way in July, sister, Betty (Frank) Gianinni of Warren, sister, Nancy of Alabama, and brother, Tom Wingate of Warren. He is preceded in death by wife, Bev in 1990 and grandson, Daniel LaFave. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Friday, June 4, 2010 from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm. The Ogemaw County Veteran Alliance will officiate. Burial will follow at Mills Township Cemetery.
