Richard G. Pauwels

Richard G. Pauwels, age 61,passed away at his home. He had lived in West Branch for the past 8 years, formerly of Bay City. He was a professional soldier, serving in the Army for over 18 years, with tours in Vietnam, Korea and Germany. He enjoyed playing pool and fishing. Mr. Pauwels is survived by his sons, Bill Pauwels (Shelley VanHamlin) and Tim Pauwels both of Bay City, his brother, Robert (Gail) Pauwels also of Bay City, his sister, Joyce Schatzer of Essexville, his cousin Gerald Pauwels and his favorite nephew, Eric Teneyuque both of West Branch and his second cousins, Robert Pauwels, Joseph Pauwels and Tabitha Pauwels. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol and his parents John and Elizabeth. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 12:30 P.M. on Friday April 22, 2005 until the time of the service at 1:30 P.M.
