Richard Baden

Richard H. Baden, age 68, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2005 at his home in St. Helen. Richard had lived in St. Helen since 1989 formerly of Imlay City, MI. Richard enjoyed riding his motorcycles, writing poetry and talking on HAM and CB Radios. He also enjoyed raising money and volunteering for the MDA Telethon, and helping the local families and children with anything they needed fixed. Surviving family members include his wife of 44 years Ann Baden of St. Helen, mother- Marie Baden of St. Helen, Children- James Baden of Wisconsin, Cynthia Baden of Illinois, Jo Ann Baden of Florida, Richard Baden Jr. of Illinois, Debbie Smith, Craig Baden, Todd Baden, and Kevin Baden all of Michigan. There are several grand children and great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers- Robert Baden of California, William Baden of Michigan, and James Baden of Oklahoma and sister Sandra Baden of Michigan. There are several nieces and nephews as well. Richard is preceded in death by his father- James H. Baden. Visitation will be held Monday, November 14, 2005 from 2-9 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. The Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 12:00 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Rev. Richard Beals will officiate. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
