Reid C. Morrison

Reid C. Morrison, age 67 of Rose City, passed away August 6, 2008 at his home. Mr. Morrison had lived in Rose City for all of his life and was a member of the Community of Christ Church in West Branch. He loved to bowl, hunt and fish, he was a great fundraiser and he loved to help people. He was never late for work and never missed a day of work in 26 years. Reid is survived by his children, Kari Otter, Reid (Dana) Morrison and Jake (Pauline) Morrison all of Rose City, Danny (Lucinda) Morrison and Kathy Morrison both of West Branch, grandchildren, Joseph, Cobran, Laken, Kelly, Alex, Vanessa, Miranda, Danny, Torie, Kole, Jake and Morgan. Also surviving are his sisters, Miriam Rosebrugh of West Branch, Orel Miller of Prescott and Pat (Eugene) LaLonde of Rose City, his brother, Clyde (Freda) Morrison Jr. of Twining and a real good friend, Trudy McDaniels. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Beryl Morrison. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2008 at the funeral home. Elders Richard Hamilton and Edward White will officiate with burial following at Selkirk Cemetery, West Branch.
