Raymond Majka

Raymond “Ray” Majka, brother, uncle, and dear friend passed away after a difficult illness on Monday, April 5, 2021 in Rose City. He was 65 years old. He was born on September 16, 1955 in Detroit to Raymond Sr. and Beverly Majka.

Ray spent time in the Merchant Marine. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed gardening and fishing. Ray was well known around Rose City and his unique character will be missed by his friends.

Ray is survived by his brother, Ronnie and his beloved dog, Blue Boo. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leo and Elmer "EJ", and sister, Marie.

Ray’s family and friends would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the staff of Heartland Hospice and the professionals at Mid-Michigan Hospital West Branch and The Villa at Rose City whose support and care made his last days comfortable.
