Raymond L. Trout, age 40, of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at his home. He had lived in West Branch for most of his life. He owned and operated Trout Rustproofing and auto accessories for 14 years. He was a member of the Tractor Pull Association and was a partner in Cloverland Farms. He worked for Bob Brewer, was a farmer most of his life and loved his tractors. Ray is survived by his daughters, Brittany and Samantha both of Elk Rapids, his father, James Trout of West Branch, brother Timothy Trout of Florida and his step-grandmother, Lowella Brindley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Trout in 2007 and his grandparents, Donald and Ivadean Brindley and Raymond and Ida Trout. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, April 26, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 1-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Fr. Miro Wiese will officiate with burial following at Selkirk Cemetery.
