Raymond L. King

Raymond L. King 63 of Rose City passed away October 30, 2011 at home peacefully with family at his side. Raymond was born in Glen Falls, NY on the 14th of November 1947 to Samuel King and Isabella Butler. He is survived by 2 children and 6 step children, Patty Thrasher & (Eddie), Raymond R. King, Renee Deaton and (Charles), James Schullar, Jerry Schullar & (Joy), Rhonda Elrod & (Bobby), Frank Schullar, Michelle Barns & (Nick) and he is also survived by his mother Isabelle Butler and 3 siblings, Shirley (Robert) Campbell, Greg (Edie) Fitzgerald, Pat (Debbie) Butler, and he was predeceased by his late sister Gloria Fitzgerald. He is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Anita on March 25, 2011. Raymond worked for GM and retired to Rose City in 1991 where he became a member of the Lions Club and the United Methodist Church. Raymond had a lot of love for his family and friends and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
