Rayanne Nicole Drensky

December 11, 1984 — November 26, 2014

Rayanne Nicole Drensky, 29, of West Branch, our brave warrior was called to Heaven on Nov. 26, 2014.

Rayanne was born to Bernice and George Drensky of West Branch. Rayanne was a beautiful person that had a one of a kind smile and a contagious laugh. Her compassion allowed her to be a giving, kind, caring and strong person that always looked after others needs before her own. Rayanne enjoyed being around people and anytime spent with family and friends was on the top of her list of favorite things. Rayanne enjoyed trail riding, camping, kayaking and reading, but her favorite of all was doing anything with her special niece Keira. Rayanne was a loyal Tigers fan and enjoyed any chance she had to watch them play at Comerica Park with her special friends. Rayanne was an Office Manager of the Ogemaw County Herald and a previous employee of Turners and Checkered Flag.

Rayanne is survived by parents, Bernice and George Drensky of West Branch; sisters, Wendy Drensky and Melody Evans of Okla.; brother, Trevor Drensky (Malissa Montbriand) and special ray of sunshine niece, Keira Drensky of Gaylord; aunts and uncles, Janet Thomas of N.C., Helen (Leonard) Bragg of West Branch, Pat (Jean) Neubecker of West Branch, Wanda Neubecker of West Branch, Chuck (Chris) Neubecker of West Branch; many cousins and special friends; and ever faithful companion dog, Harley of West Branch. She is preceded in death by her brother, George Drensky Jr., and aunts, Isbel Fox, Heather Drenksy, and Joyce Fultz.

Rayanne’s strength during her fight came to her through the love of family, friends, and through the words of 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight,” and Psalms 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

We welcome the community, family and friends for visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:00 p.m. On Wednesday, December 3, 2014, Rayanne will lie in state at the St. Joseph Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Mass at 12:00 p.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
