Randy L. Buck, age 65, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw with his family by his side. Randy was born October 11, 1951 in Ogemaw County to the late Clarence “Pete” and Arlene (LaVack) Buck. He has lived in Lupton for most of his life, graduating from Farmington Hills High School in 1969. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Randy married Sandra L. Beyerlein on May 15, 1976. He worked as a “woodtick” for the last forty years. He loved bear and deer hunting with his “cronies” and fishing when he could. He loved being outside, and was a master at frying fish for a crowd. He also loved going to the U.P. and hitting the casino when he could.
He is survived by his wife Sandy and daughters Laura (Dave) Bareno and Kallie (Jon) Lange. Also surviving are his grandchildren Lauren, Meagan, Jake and Brooke, well as his special family Shari (Kurt) Denstedt and daughters and great granddaughter “Bristol the Pistol”. As well as his special brother Bob (Phyllis) Mills, and siblings Arthur (Sharon) Buck, Christine (Louis) McKellar and Carl (Shirley) Buck. Randy is also survived by many sisters and brothers in law and nieces and nephews. Randy has many close friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren in Rose City will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 1-9PM. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10-11AM. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate.
