Phyllis M. Wolfgang

Phyllis M. Wolfgang, age 88, went home to heaven peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019 in West Branch, MI. Phyllis was born on May 9, 1931 in Bay City, MI to Charles and Jenny (Stevens) Gibelyou. She lived in West Branch for the past 10 years previously of Bay City. Phyllis worked as a Home Health Aid over the years both at Leelin, and Heartland Home Health Care. She served several years as the head of the Therapy Department for the Bay County Medical Facility, in Essexville. She was very active in ministry and worked side by side with her husband while they pastored numerous Nazarene Church in the mid-Michigan area. She led youth groups, Sunday school programs and numerous church functions. She enjoyed sewing and leading people to the Lord.

Surviving family include her daughter Dixie (Larry) Loy of Roswell, New Mexico, son Donald (Connie) Wolfgang Jr. of West Branch, and son Jon Wolfgang of West Branch. She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Wolfgang Sr. in May 2019 and brothers, Venis, Garneth, Norman, Francis, Robert, Ronnie and Dale.

A memorial service for Phyllis and Donald Sr. will be held at a later date by their son Donald Jr at the County Line Wesleyan Church in Twining, MI.
