Phyllis M. Meiser, age 70, of West Branch, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2007. She had been a resident of West Branch for all of her life. Phyllis was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was an avid bowler and she loved family gatherings; her grandchildren were very important to her. Survivors include her husband, Bill of West Branch, children; Lisa (Brian) Walsh, Sally Crawford and Gregory (Sarah) Meiser all of West Branch and Tanna (Steve) Stuck of Houghton Lake, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Also surviving are her brothers, Michael (Maggie-Margaret) Winters of West Branch, Pat (Cathy) Winter of Bay City and Jim (Laura) Winter of Tennessee, and her sisters, Debbie (Gerald) Schroeder of Wisconsin and Laurie(Robert) Cappell of West Branch. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, August 10, 2007 from 3-9 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. led by Phyllis' granddaughter, Sybil Stuck. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Falcon Site Development for the soccer fields.
