Phyllis M. Jones

Phyllis M. Jones, age 83 of West Branch, passed away Monday September 14, 2009 at her home after an extended illness. Phyllis was a former member of the West Branch Country Club where she enjoyed golfing. She also enjoyed flowers and making flower arrangements. Phyllis is survived by her children, Nancy Thomas of Macomb Township, Michael (Debbie) Jones and Cheryl (Ronald) Vaughn both of West Branch, Frank (Theresa) Jones of Shelby Township and Janet (Andrew) Webb of Otsego, 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Evelyn (Miller) Mulvany of California and Gertrude (Miller) Horek of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband James G. Jones, her grandson George J. Selaty, sisters, Mary (Miller) Hampton and Deloris (Miller) Shoen and her brothers, Richard Miller, Edward Miller Jr. and Raymond Miller. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Burial will take place at Damon Cemetery.
