Phyllis J. Klauka

Phyllis J. Klauka, age 72 of Lupton, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Phyllis was born December 23, 1940 in Otisville to Robert and Thelma (Putman) Nutt. She had lived in Lapeer for most of her life before moving to Lupton. Phyllis is survived by her children Randall (Tammy) Kern of Lapeer, Debra (Stephen) McQuiston of Lupton and Timothy Kern of West Branch, her grandchildren Jason, Randalla, India, Duke, Phyllis, Adam, Darcy, Delbert, Ashley, Joanna, Timmy and Brandon, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her brother Virgel (Phyllis) Nutt of Lapeer and her sisters Marlyin Johnson of Lapeer, Charlene (Robert) Turner of Davison, Norma Morey of Lapeer and Cheryl (Alan) Whitney of Lapeer. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Dale Nutt and Verne Nutt. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
