Phyllis F. Gratton

Phyllis F. Gratton, age 86, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at home in West Branch, MI. She was born to Julius and Stella (Frantz) Rapp in Detroit, MI on November 30, 1928. Phyllis had lived in West Branch since 1983, formerly of East Pointe, MI. She was a member at the West Branch Senior Center, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and a past tutor for the Literacy Council.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Debra Gratton of Macomb, MI, Donald (Elaine) Gratton of Columbus, Twp. MI, Thomas Gratton of Macomb, MI, and Robert (Peggy) Gratton of West Branch, MI; grandchildren: Nicole, Donald (Mandi), Douglas (Sarah), Nancy Jo (Matt), Joshua, and Nathan; and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 1991.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 2:00 p.m. On Tuesday, December 30, 2014, Phyllis will lie in state at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life Mass at 2:00 p.m. Father Patrick Maher will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
