Phillip W. Wangler

Phillip W. "Junior" Wangler, age 74 of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch for all of his life and was a member of the K of C #2022, West Branch, 4th Degree Assemble #1745 and a past board member of the West Branch Farmers Co-op and the Ogemaw Community Credit Union. Junior is survived by his wife, Betty Wangler of West Branch, children, Gary (Emily) Wangler of Prescott, David (Shelley) Wangler, Stephen Wangler, Sharon Wangler and Richard (Lori) Wangler all of West Branch, 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and his brother, Dale Wangler of West Branch. He was preceded in death by a son, Grant in 1984, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, July 6, 2006 from 6-9 p.m., Friday from 12-5 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. There will be a Scripture service at 7:00 p.m. and a K of C Rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot and Fr. Richard Seifferly will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the K of C #2022 or to the Community Support Team.
