Peter James Gensman

Peter James Gensman, age 58, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home in Saginaw, MI. He was born on September 11, 1962 in Macomb County, MI to Jack and Edith (Koch) Gensman.

Peter lived in Saginaw for the past 20 years, formerly of Gladwin. He graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1980. He served in the United States Army during Desert Storm in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being outdoors.

Peter is survived by his children, Christopher Gensman of Prescott and Cyrstal (Tom) Mead of Sterling; grandchildren, Kylee, Loren and Carrah; siblings, Ruth (Lyle) Hoard of AL, Bill (Tammy) Gensman of Gladwin, Fred Gensman of Prescott, Guy Gensman of East Jordan, and Janet Hamilton of Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jane Nashatka and Nina Symons.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
