Pauline Kay Zettel

Pauline Kay Zettel, age 73, passed away peacefully on November 09, 2024. Born on September 15, 1951, to Arthur and Mary Godden, Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought warmth and joy to everyone around her.

On June 28, 1969, Pauline married the love of her life, Ronald James Zettel. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and cherished memories. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents, Arthur and Mary; her father- and mother-in-law, Eugene and Arlene Zettel; and her beloved dog, Sophie.

Pauline is survived by her children, Brittany Zettel (Laura Marentette) of National City, Gavin (Elaine) Zettel of Fenton, Rorie (Amy) Zettel of West Branch, and Linsey (Josh) Schumann of Bay City. She was a proud grandmother to Zachary, Joshua, and Nicole Zettel; Owen Zettel; Ty and Leah Schumann; and Hunter Zettel. Her beloved dog, Abbey, will miss her dearly.

She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce Hayes, Rose Quigley, and Penny Wells; her sisters-in-law, Barb Hakala and Patricia Butler; her brother-in-law, Tony Zettel; and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline enjoyed garage sales, puzzles, and sharing her enthusiasm for President Trump, celebrating his re-election with great pride. She treasured family gatherings, especially time spent with her children and grandchildren.
