Pauline E. Burgeson

Pauline E, Burgeson, 86 of St. Johns, formerly of Bay City, died peacefully Friday morning, November 2, 2007, at the home of her loving granddaughter, Vonda Shileika, her caregiver. She was born in West Branch on June 27, 1921 to Joseph and Viola (Smith) Priddy. She was married to LeRoy V. Burgeson on August 1, 1939. He preceeds her in death. Pauline was active in her church, Community of Christ Church, Bay City. She enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and being at her cabin at Tee Lake. Surviving family members include four children: Gilroy (Martha) Burgeson of Bay City, Myrna (Doug) Brewer of West Branch, Clara Lynn (Ron) Dantzer of West Branch, and Michele (Don) Nielson of Bay City. Their are twelve grandchildren: Vonda Shileika,. Wade (Trisha) Burgeson, Paul Patti) Brewer, Brian (Donna) Brewer, Stacy Brewer, Todd (Marie) Brewer, Derek (Rachel) Brewer, Jeff Brewer, Terri (Dan) Erlenbeck, Chrissy (Preston) Colclasure, Ryan (Laura) Nielson, Andy (Susan) Nielson. Pauline also has 14 great grandchildren; Thad, Alex and Gabby Shileika; Clay and Chase Burgeson; Brianna, Rachel and Danielle, Jacob and Reese Brewer; Amberlyn and Emma Erlenbeck and Kaelyn and Brooklyn Colclasure. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law Jennie Priddy, many loved nieces and nephews and many friends from The Community of Christ Churches. Pauline is preceded by her parents, a grandson Nicholas Brewer, seven siblings, Ollie Sheltrown, Marjorie White, Florence Donaldson, Elsie Cronk,Otis, Wilber, and John Priddy, and a special nephew Gary Burgeson. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 1:00PM to 9:00PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Funeral services will be on Monday at 2:00PM from the funeral home. Elder Gilroy F. Burgeson will officiate. Interment will be at Edwards Twp. Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospice or The Alzeimer's Association
