Paul Matthew Doebler

Paul Matthew Doebler, age 68, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at his home in Prescott, MI surrounded by his family. He was born on October 10, 1954, in Pontiac, MI to Gerald and Violet (Greer) Doebler. Paul lived in Prescott for over 25 years formerly of Gladwin, Troy, and Clawson, MI.

Paul held many jobs as a janitor, cook, waiter, and handyman. He moved to Prescott with his parents to the cabin “up north”.

Paul enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, horse racing, car racing, and wrestling. He was a goofy and silly person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a giving person.

Paul is survived by his son Jerry Doebler of Pinconning, MI; daughter Mandy Strick of Standish, MI; grandchildren Nick, Shawn, and Adam; siblings Diane Sollose of Prescott, Mark (Debbie) Doebler of Prescott, Wesley (Lila) Doebler of Prescott, and Eric (Lynn) Doebler of Rose City; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Paul Jr., and siblings Sharon Melrose and RoseAnn Doebler.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
