Patricia E. Rose

Patricia E. Rose, age 79 of Rose City passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Patricia had lived in Rose City since 1979, formerly of Newago. She was a member of the Lions Club and Holy Family Catholic Church and was an election official for Cumming Township. She enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting and crafts. Patricia is survived by her husband Richard Rose of Rose City, children, Allen Rose of Washington, D.C., Rick (Michelle) Rose of Howard City and Tami (John) Waverick of Charlotte, 6 grandchildren, Jason and Lacie Rose, Michael, Jessica, Lisa and Grace Burton and great-grandchildren Rylee, Chaz, Jolie and Amanda. Also surviving are her sisters Margaret McGuire and Catherine Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Joseph, James and Leo and her sister, Mary. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rose City Lions Club or the Rose City Historical Society.
