Patricia A. Kangas

Patricia A. Kangas, age 56, passed away October 22, 2005 at her home in Lupton. She lived in Lupton since 1968, formerly of West Branch. Patricia and her husband Merle owned and operated Sunrise Cafe in Lupton for 17 years. She enjoyed craft shows and ceramics. Surviving family members include Patricia's husband Merle and sons Rick (Jenny) Kangas of Lupton, Tom (April) Kangas of Lupton and Travis (Amanda) Kangas of Hale. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; Ricky, Raymond, Brittani, Steven, Brooke, Cassey, Trent, Allie and Gage; brother Reggie Sapp of Alma and 1 aunt Belva Meir of Hanes, Florida. Preceding Patricia in death were 2 brothers Larry and Richard Sapp. Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will be on Monday, October 24th, 2005 from 4-9 p.m. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th at the Rose City Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery. Rev. Fr. August Franczek will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation
