Patricia A. Clayton

Patricia A. Clayton, age 65, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at her home. Pat lived in West Branch for most of her life. She was born to Archie and Velma Howell on March 3, 1948 in Garden City, Michigan. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Branch and she enjoyed sewing, crafting, camping and bicycling. “Gramma Pat” provided day care for area children for over 42 years. Pat is survived by her husband Jack Clayton of West Branch, her children, John Clayton of Gladwin, Holly (Brian) Brindley of West Branch and Rusty (Ian) Matthew-Clayton of New York, NY, her grandsons, Jacob, Kaleb, Kellen, Boston and Greyson. Also surviving is her mother, Velma Howell of Hernando, FL, her sisters, Diane (Chum) Grezeszak of Hernando, FL and Darlene (Thom) Jones of West Branch, her brother Gary (Eileen) Howell of West Branch and her mother-in-law Dorothy Clayton of West Branch She was preceded in death by her father Archie Howell. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church in West Branch. Pastor David Kurtz will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Chicago, IL.
