Pamela Irene Diehl

Pamela Irene Diehl, lovingly known as Pam, age 68, passed away at her home in St. Helen, MI on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 11, 1956, in Wayne County, MI to Clent and Irene (Wheeler) Lewallen. Pam lived in St. Helen for 9 years formerly of Taylor, MI.

On May 11, 1999, she married Donald Diehl in Toledo, OH.

Pam's life was one of joy, creativity, and deep connection to those she cherished. She had a passion for painting, capturing the beauty she saw in the world around her. Pam found immense pleasure in reading, the pages of countless books offering her new adventures and ideas. She also delighted in exploring yard sales, always on the lookout for special treasures. An animal lover at heart, she spent many hours feeding and watching the creatures that graced her yard, reflecting her nurturing spirit.

Most importantly, Pam took immense pride in her family, and her greatest accomplishment was the time she shared with her ten beloved grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she cherished each moment spent in their company, whether it was through laughter, storytelling, or simply enjoying the tranquility of being together.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Donald Diehl; daughter, Charesse (Josh) Jones; sons, William (Becky) Adams and Eric Adams; daughter Heather Kraft (Kathryn). Her sisters, Lenora (Jerome) Perry, Eva (David) Hubbard, Audrey (Terry) Hall, Lisa Lewallen, and Cary Varney (Adam), along with her brother Carl (Kimberly) Lewallen. She leaves behind ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who will forever remember her kindness and warmth.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Don Wray will officiate the service.
