Orville Little

Orville "Nate" Little 84, of West Branch, died Thursday at West Branch Regional Medical Center in West Branch. He was born on September 12, 1923 in Moran Michigan to Henry and Cynthia (Smith) Little. Nate lived in the West Branch area most of his life and enjoyed hunting , fishing, playing cards and spinners. Mr. Little was "senior citizen of the month" for the month of October 2007. Among his survivors are 3 brothers; Ernest of West Branch, Leverne of Detroit and Clayton of California and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bill, Edward, Leroy, John, Ted and Clinton, and sisters Bea Beck, Emma Wangler, Della Zimmerman and Bertha Pelton and a sister-in-law Zeta Little. Family will be receiving friends at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Tuesday from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at which time the funeral services will start. The Rev. Daniel Stoneback will officiate. The family would like to thank the staff at Bortz Health Care in West Branch for thier kind and caring service.
