Norma Jean Brown

Norma Jean Brown, age 90, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. She was born on January 29, 1933, in Taunton, MA to Alexander and Evangeline (Ellis) Clift.

Norma lived in West Branch, MI for many years.

She graduated from Taunton High School and then went on to earn a degree in Interior Design at Boston College of Design. She married Harold Brown in 1953 and they had two wonderful sons, Larry and Douglas.

Norma enjoyed gardening, reading, boating, music, art, nature, and animals. She also loved her family and friends and was always there for them.

Norma is survived by her nephews, extended family members and neighbors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold in 2013, sons Douglas in 2000 and Larry in 2022, brothers Leslie and John Russell, and sister Lorraine.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
