Nicholas L. Brewer

Nicholas L. Brewer, age 10, of Boyne City passed away at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. Nicholas had lived in Boyne City for the past 8 years and was formerly of Oakland County. He enjoyed playing outdoors especially with tractors, working on Grandpa and Grandmas farm and two years of gymnastics. He enjoyed a yearly trip to the Antique Tractor Show and the antics of his younger brother Jacob. Nicholas is survived by his parents Paul and Patricia Brewer of Boyne City; his brother Jacob; grandparents Doug and Myrna Brewer of West Branch and Barbara Borst of Davison and his great-grandmother Pauline Burgeson of Bay City. Also surviving are six uncles Hugh (Susan) Borst of Glendale Heights, IL, Brian (Donna) Brewer, Derek (Rachel) Brewer and Jeff Brewer all of West Branch, Stacy Brewer of Nenana, AK and Todd (Marie) Brewer of Lansing; his 5 cousins Brianna, Rachel, Danielle, Samantha and Olivia and many other relatives and friends. Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandpa John Borst and great-grandpa LeRoy Burgeson. Visitaiton at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Friday May 27, 2005 from 2-9 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday May 28, 2005 at 1:30 PM at the Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will follow at the Edwards Township Cemetery in West Branch. Pastor Clarence Pease will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
