Nancy Lee Bearss

Nancy-Lee Mary Bearss, age 63 of Gladwin, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at her home. Nancy had lived in Gladwin for the past 35 years, also of Flint, but originally from Harper Woods. She enjoyed shopping, writing, and helping others. Nancy was a hard worker, was formerly employed at Toutant General Store and Tanger Outlet Mall. She was a member of the Mid Michigan Writers Association and the POW-MIA Club. Nancy is survived by her children, Rhonda Bearss-Farmer, Larry (Tina) Bearss II and Brian Bearss all of West Branch, and her grandchildren, Justine, Angelia, Erica, Taylor, Titus and Brendon. Also surviving is her twin brother, Norm (Janet) Lingnau of Novi and her sisters, Sally (Ed) Gralzyk of Tennessee and Arline Lingnau of Mt. Clemens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry and her parents, Elmer and Geraldine. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 2-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officiate with burial following at Edwards Township Cemetery, West Branch.
