Nancy Ann Nelson

Nancy Ann Nelson, age 78, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, September 7, 2015 surrounded by her family at The Villa at West Branch. She had lived in West Branch most of her life. Nancy was born to Thomas and Frances (Smith) Willett on December 15, 1936 in Detroit, MI. She enjoyed bingo, putting puzzles together, Elvis Presley, NASCAR, and loved the Detroit Tigers.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Rick (Vickie) Nelson, Mike (Julie) Nelson; daughters, Karen (Dale) Myers, Kim (Jeff) Darlington, Kathy Nelson, and Jackie Williamson; grandchildren, Kara Jo, Ricky, Rebecca, Tommy, Linann, Mike, Kevin, Krystal, Adam, Brian, Lisa, and Jason; 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and sisters, Linda Roberts and Martha (John) Orr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Frances Willett; husband, Lindy Nelson; brothers, Ronnie Willett and Dick Willett; sister, Pat Grezeszak; and son, Tom Nelson.

A Memorial Service will be held graveside on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery in West Branch, MI.
