Myrna Rae Reighard

Myrna Rae Reighard, age 74, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. She was born on Friday, September 17, 1948, in Fossil, OR to Marvin and Alpha (Taylor) Sandvicken.

Myrna Rae Reighard, affectionately known as Grammy to those that loved her. She spent her life working hard to provide for her family. She had an open-door policy and was eager to give whatever she had to those that needed it.

Throughout her career she blessed those at the Hanging 5 Restaurant in Butte, MT with her delicious famous pasties. She spent decades of her life caring for residents in nursing homes. Her outstanding work ethic and big caring heart was able to make the lives of hundreds of residents better. Myrna put as much passion into those she cared for as she did her own family.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and curling up on the couch with her dogs as she enjoyed her favorite tv shows or played her favorite games.

Myrna is survived by her children Margie Butler, Robert (Gena) Grund, Shelly (Tony) Sheltrown, and Amy (KC) Crowley; brothers Michael Sandvicken and Ricky Mackenzie; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Brian Reighard, her son Gary Grund, sisters Margaret Johnson and Marcia Perkins.

Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
