Mr. Clark, age 85 of West Branch passed away at his home. He had lived in West Branch for the past 20 years, formerly of Ann Arbor. He was one of the founders of the Yankee Air Force in Oscoda. He was a WWII Veteran, flying 50 missions as a flight engineer in a B-24 bomber, flying raids over the Ploesti Oil Fields in Romania. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in September of 1964. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife Marcia Clark of West Branch, sons--Bill Clark of West Branch and Dennis (Jan) Clark of New Boston, grandchildren--Carol (Mark) Sells and Andrew Clark and great-granddaughters Kimberly and Kaeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Melvin and a sister Eunice. No Services are scheduled.
