Monrad H. Thorson

Monrad H. Thorson, age 88 of West Branch passed away January 15, 2005 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 1974, formerly of Detroit. He was a member of the American Rifleman, the Ford Gun Club and the Wildwood Whirlers. He was a marksman shooter and enjoyed carving, woodwork and travel. Mr. Thorson is survived by his wife Crystal Thorson of West Branch, children--Mary (Joe) Lujan of Rochester, Thomas (Joyce) Thorson of West Branch, Jerome (Michele) Thorson of Prescott, grandchildren--Craig, Timothy, Brian, Carrie, Lori, Rebecca, Deborah, Jennifer, Christine, Rochelle, Travis, Ole and Dana, 20 great-grandchildren and his brother Donald (Beverly) Thorson of Bottineah, ND. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 17, 2005 at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. Pastor Karl Neff will officiate with burial following at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church or Hospice of Helping Hands.
