Millie Busby

Mary "Millie" Busby, age 79 of St. Helen, passed away Monday, November 21, 2005 at her home. She had lived in St. Helen since 1989, formerly of Mio. She was a volunteer for Hospice and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, painting, crafts, reading, crossword puzzles and especially scrabble. Millie is survived by her children, Barbara Vamplew (Richard Oneski) of St. Helen, Doug (Anne) Beatty of Mio, Robert Beatty of Red Oak and Loretta (Kent) Burke of Taylor, grandchildren, Tracy and Katy, her sister, Theresa Dickson of South Hampton, NY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund "Buck" Beatty, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
