Mildred Maxine Wiles

Mildred Maxine Wiles, age 83 of West Branch passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 4, 1932 in Bayport, MI to Walter and Ethel (Bradd) Lewis. Millie has been a resident of West Branch for the past 3 years previously of Saginaw, MI. Millie loved her family more than anything, her life revolved around raising and caring for her family. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, watching birds and wildlife, and going to the casino. In years past Millie was active in the Methodist church in Bridgeport, MI. One of her greatest accomplishments was going back to school and graduating from high school after raising her children.

Mildred is survived by her husband of 67 years Garth Wiles of West Branch, son Robert (Toni) Wiles of West Branch, daughter Patricia (Richard) Cox of Byron, daughter Susan Harley of West Branch, son Michael (Judy) Wiles of Gladwin, son James (Kris) Wiles of West Branch, son Thomas (Kim) Wiles of West Branch, and son Steven (Bonnie) Wiles of Lupton. She has 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Reta, son-in-law Mike and several Brothers-in-law.

Per her wishes a cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
