Michelle Mae Hamilton

Michelle Mae Hamilton, age 9, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She was born on November 13, 2012 in Saginaw, MI to Rebecca DeColumna and Kevin Hamilton.

The world lost this amazing warrior princess, who has fought to be here the whole nine years of her young life. She was loved by so many and made their lives brighter ever day with her beautiful smile.

Michelle was a 2nd grader at Surline Elementary School in West Branch. She enjoyed hanging out with her family, going to school (math was her favorite subject), dirt road riding, and listening to music and dancing.

Michelle is survived by her mom, Rebecca (Nathan Burr) DeColumna; father, Kevin (Chasondra Hamilton); siblings, Natalie DeColumna, Cameron Burr, Gabrielle Burr, Rylin Burr, Makalynn Burr, Noah Goodwin, Charlee Hamilton, and Madison Bessey; grandparents, Jeff and Julie DeColumna, Peggy Moorhouse, and Phillip and DeeAnn Hamilton; aunts and uncles, Karrie (Justin Yorch) Hamilton, Emily DeColumna, Kody Hamilton, Jason DeColumna, Brandon Burr, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Michelle Hamilton; great grandparents, Allen and Karen Slade; great grandpa, Taras DeColumna; and uncle, Martin Burr.

A memorial visitation will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
