Michelle Elaine Fliam

August 11, 1958 — March 29, 2024

St. Helen, MI

Michelle Elaine Fliam went to go rest high on that mountain on March 28, 2024 with her daughter Judy Rae at her side.

Michelle lived life like everyday was a road trip! She loved to get in the car and drive with no particular destination in mind. One particular road trip landed us in the middle of the Mojave Desert broke down with no gas left in the tank, but somehow she made it all seem like part of the adventure with us kids. As long as the radio still worked, we were in good shape. She’d say “Rock n Roll will take the worries away!”

She will be sorely missed by her husband Michael Fliam of St. Helen, MI. Also survived by her children, Judy Rae Booth (Erik) of Grand Haven, MI, Eddy Haverstock (Lisa Schultz) of Duluth, MN, Michelle McClurg of Suffolk, VA, Kristalyn Poole (David) of Pelion, SC, and Peter Haverstock of St. Helen, MI. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Michelle is also survived by 6 of 8 siblings, Jeff, Pete, Christie, George, Pattie, and Robin.

She joins her mother, Judy Rae Wright and two brothers, John Bishop Haverstock and Dennis Hamblin on that mountain top in the sky!

The family would like to thank My Michigan Health hospital and staff who showed Michelle Grace and compassion in her last days on this worldly earth.

Any contributions can be sent to her husband to cover the cost of funeral expenses.
