Michael James Jones

Michael James Jones, age 72 of West Branch, passed away in Pontiac, MI. This beloved husband and father earned his wings on January 1, 2021. His larger than life personality will be missed. Mike was born on September 20, 1948 to James and Phyllis (Miller) Jones in Mt. Clemens, MI. Mike married Deborah Jones on July 14, 1967 in Mt. Clemens, MI. He has lived in West Branch since 1989, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. He enjoyed golf and was a Lions Club member.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deborah Jones, children, David (Terri) Jones, Christopher (Rachelle) Jones, Michael (Kathlene) Jones, and Jaime (Tim) Ferrell, grandchildren, Jenna, Alex, Gillian, Zander, Jocelyn, Rylee, Chloe, Rowan, Peyton and Olevia. Also surviving are brother, Frank (Theresa) Jones and sisters, Nancy Thomas, Cheryl (Ronald) Vaughn, Janet (Andy) Webb along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Phyllis Jones and nephew, George Selaty.

A graveside service will be held with immediate family only. A memorial is being planned for summer 2021.
