Michael Darrel White Sr.

Michael Darrel White Sr., age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Brian’s House in Essexville, MI. He was born on September 20, 1943, in Pontiac, MI to Dixie and Juanita (Hughes) White. He lived in Alger, MI since 2006, formerly of Clarkson, MI.

Michael graduated from Waterford Township High School and worked for Pepsi in Pontiac for over 30 years. He also worked for General Motors for 12 years. He enjoyed spending his summers on Lake Erie, and hunting, golfing, bowling and fishing.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Maureen White of Alger; children Michael (MaryBeth) White Jr. of Highland, MI, Patricia Thor of Cadillac, MI, Barbara (Ken) White-Poirier of Hazel Park, MI and Jayson Pass of Clarkston, MI; grandchildren, Natasha, Shannon, Katie, Brooke, Cameron, Taiya, and Bryce; great grandchildren Desirae and Matthew; brothers John (Diane) White of VA and Jason (Linda) White of Waterford, MI.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson Matthew, and stepmother Patricia “Pat” White.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
