Michael Arthur Rossignol

Michael Arthur Rossignol, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, MI. He had lived in Gladwin for the past 5 years, formerly of St. Helen and White Lake. Michael was born on August 23, 1957 to Joseph and Patricia (Maran) Rossignol in Detroit. On August 24, 1983, he married April Maule in Walled Lake. Michael enjoyed working in his flowers and gardening. He also enjoyed canoeing, boating and especially kayaking. Michael started raising ducks which turned into having a small animal farm where all of his animals were named. Addition to his animal farm, he had six mini dachshunds, Topper, Zues, Dog, Rosie, Shaila and Tipper; a cat, Calipiso; and two parakeets, M&M’s. Michael loved spending his time with his animals and his family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, April Rossignol of Gladwin, MI; son, Derek (Tonya Sibu) Rossignol of Oxford, MI; siblings, David (Cande Valdez) Rossignol of Commerce Twp., MI, Donnie (Robin) Rossignol of White Lake, MI; Joseph Rossignol Jr. of Pontiac, MI, Kathy (Dave) Allen of Holly, MI, Suzanne Taylor of South Lyon, MI and John (Jenni) Rossignol of FL; sister in law, Martha (Richard) Hagle of Roscommon, MI; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Patricia Rossignol; brother, Brian; mother and father in law, Martha Nadine and Lester Maule; and sister in law, Ruby (Tom) Lane.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Horton Township Hall from 2-5 PM.
