Merel F. Miller

Merel Frank Miller, age 76, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2005 at his home in St. Helen. He had lived in St. Helen for over 20 years previously from Flint, MI. Mr. Miller retired from the General Motors Truck Plant in Flint. After he retired from GM he enjoyed spending his free time hunting and especially fishing, but above all he loved spending time with his family. Merel is survived by his wife of 55 years Betty Miller of St. Helen; daughter- Linda _(Ted) Morris of Inverness, Florida; son – Merel (Roxanne) Miller of Flint; daughter – Sharon Ford of Kingsport, TN; son – Don (Sherry) Miller of Swartz Creek; and daughter – Juanita (Joe) Benac of West Branch. 14 Grandchildren and Many Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers- Earl and Roy Miller and a sister- Bernice Yack. Merel is preceded in death by his son Ron Miller and 4 brothers, Raymond Miller, Larry Miller, Ralph Miller and Bill Miller. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 from 12-2 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. The Funeral Service will also be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
