Melvina I. Kline

Melvina Kline, age 87, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Alger, MI. Melvina has lived in Alger since 1988. She was born to Paul and Lela (Zinninger) Kline in Detroit, MI on October 14, 1926. Melvina enjoyed going to the casino, spending time at the Senior Center where she played the Wii, and had a close relationship with her neighbors. Melvina is survived by her nieces and nephews: Gerald (Linda) Kline, Janet (Gary) Molnar, Jack (Sue) Kline, Jon (Deb) Kline; 12 great nieces and nephews; caretaker, Suzanne Clare; and many friends at the Senior Center and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Norwood (Bernice), Evron, Donald, Howard; nephew: James (Carol) Kline; and special friend: Edna Schurig. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch, MI will begin on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ogemaw Commission on Aging.
