Melvin P. Womack

Mr. Womack, age 82 of West Branch, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in West Branch since 1998, formerly of Gladwin and Pontiac. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He loved to fish and hunt. Mr. Womack is survived by his wife Esther of West Branch, children--David (Kay) Womack of Georgetown, TX, Grace Womack of Leander TX and Dennis (Brenda) Womack of Columbus OH, 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, his sister, Elfleda Childers of Keene TX and Elbert Womack of Eugene, OR. He was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday September 2, 2004 from 3-5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch. Rev. Carlo Sgambelluri will officate with burial following at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Detroit. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Helping Hands.
